A borítékot 1918. július 22-én adták fel Budapestről Bécsbe. A túlsúlyos ajánlott levél az első légiposta bélyegeinkkel, egy "parlament" bélyeggel és a Hadisegély III sorozat bélyegeivel van bérmentesítve. A Budapest–Bécs közötti menetrendszerű légipostajárat csak rövid ideig,1918. július 4. és július 23. között működött, mert július 13-án, majd 21-én is lezuhant a szállítmányt vivő gép.
