Errors and curiosities found on stamps in this series

The small-design-size variety of the 10 fillér (MBK 1372) with watermark XIII is very rare; mint never-hinged examples surfaced only long after issue, so the set was marketed without this variety and the set price does not include it.

The 20 and 60 fillér denominations are also known on unwatermarked paper. Numerous varieties caused by plate damage occur. The MBK A/B watermark orientations are not distinguished here. On the 70 fillér, a white spot is known on the hook of the numeral 7 at sheet position 71.

The earlier Buildings (I) set has the same denominations but different designs. The “Meghatalmazás” and “Érvényes” overprints on the 30 fillér are treated as a separate series.
