The stamp can be oriented either vertically or horizontally by its shape, with the exception of the Chain Bridge block III, which features both orientations. The watermark position can be determined on every stamp. Of the watermark positions, both orientations include two, the normal and the mirror image, distinguishing from the double-cross position.
